Samulnori is a modern Korean traditional music that uses the rhythm of pungmul, centering on the four objects (kkwaenggwari, jing, janggu, and buk) from pungmulnori (music played to liven up special days in agricultural societies, also called Nongak (farmers' music)). This is a very special course where you can learn the definition and history of traditional yet newly created samulnori and learn traditional Korean music by playing the rhythm and samul instruments taken from pungmul.
