
The Sejong Institute Foundation operates the ‘Sejong Cultural Academy’ to spread and expand professional and systematic Korean culture courses. It develops courses that reflect local demand and dispatches Korean culture experts and class operation support staff overseas to support Sejong Institute students and local residents to directly experience high-quality Korean culture from an intercultural perspective.
From 2016 to the present, more than 184,000 participants around the world have experienced Korean culture through the Sejong Cultural Academy.In 2025, the Academy was operated in 105 locations across 55 countries, delivering 12 diverse Korean culture courses across multiple fields.

2025 Sejong Cultural Academy Implementation Status
PROJECT
Sejong Cultural Academy is a representative cultural project of the Sejong Institute Foundation that disseminates Korean culture lectures by dispatching Korean culture experts in various fields overseas.
The Sejong Institute Foundation plans to support the opening of Korean culture lectures in 12 fields in 110 institutions in 57 countries around the world by 2025.
