The Sejong Institute Foundation has been operating the ‘Sejong Cultural Academy’ since 2016 for people around the world who love Korean culture, and so far, approximately 184,000 students have experienced Korean tradition and modern culture through this program. Like Mapo-ro, who came to study in Korea because of pansori, and Nansi Castro from Mexico, who majored in traditional music and became a teacher after being fascinated by Gyeonggi folk songs, the experience of encountering Korean culture can sometimes become a journey that changes a person’s life.

In 2025, Sejong Cultural Academy has prepared courses that cover both tradition and modernity, focusing on 12 cultural fields including Samulnori, K-beauty, K-pop, Hanbok, and Korean dramas and movies.
We are preparing to cooperate with various organizations such as Sejong Institute, overseas missions, cultural centers, training centers, and local educational institutions so that more people can enjoy Korean culture and interpret it in a new way by connecting it to their own lives.
