Since 2016, the King Sejong Institute Foundation has been running the Sejong Culture Academy for Korean culture enthusiasts.

Over the years, more than 124,000 students have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Korean culture and arts through our programs.

Like the story of Maporo, a Pansori enthusiast who studied in South Korea and blossomed into a Pansori performer, and Mexican native Nancy Castro who developed a deep passion for Gyeonggi Minyo folk songs, pursued a degree in traditional Korean music, and became a bearer of Gyeonggi Minyo traditions. You can start with a beginner's interest and go on to become an expert. We want you to experience not only enjoyment but also professional depth.

This year's Sejong Culture Academy offers a rich curriculum spanning 12 fields, encompassing both traditional and contemporary Korean culture. You can explore areas such as Samulnori, K-beauty, Korean dramas and movies, K-pop, and hanbok.

To enhance your experience, we have partnered with various organizations including overseas diplomatic offices, cultural centers, education centers, and local educational institutions.
